What your mindset can cause…
Think positive! I think everyone of us heard these two words at least once in his life. But most people
still don’t know what positive thinking really is and what effects their mindset really has in their life.
Positive thinking doesn’t mean that you just see the good in every situation. It’s a lifestyle. You can’t be positive today and negative tomorrow. Or… sure you can. But then you’re no real positive thinker.
And no, it doesn’t mean that „positive people“ are happy every time or that they reach every goal easily. But it means that positive people have real goals. And they follow their goals and work on them till they’re reached. And even if they experience a failure: They don’t lose hope nor quit.
The best thing with it is, that we can LEARN to think positive. I think none is born positive or negative. It’s just what our childhood and our education made of us. But now we can decide by our own what we wanna be.
It’s just a decision
If you believe it or not: Earlier in my life I wasn’t that positive, happy Sam. I saw the bad in just every situation. I didn’t believe in myself and in many cases and times I was just in a bad mood. And I was an overthinker. There were so many nights where I just lied in my bed but just couldn’t sleep because of all those negative and sad thoughts in my head. This really pulled me down. Again and again.
But one day everything changed. One day I DECIDED not to waste my life on negativity and sadness. I decided to learn how to think positive. And this is how my story begins. And now I’m writing this article just to share my experience with you.
The only thing you need to learn positivity is a strong decision and a will. That’s it.
Just do it – Think positive!
That’s the key to success: Just do it. No matter what we learn – often we just wait too long to take action, just because we think we don’t know enough already. And this is what blocks you. Just do it. Just start.
Each day gives us a new opportunity to start a new life, to accustom new, healthy habits and forget the old, bad ones.
And this is how I started. I just decided to think of everything I actually have. And then I decided to be grateful for everything I have. I started to see the world with new eyes and focused on the good instead of the bad.
The things that you focus the most, have the most weigh in your life. Remember that.
Life’s like a camera. If you don’t like what you see, focus on something else.
If you focus on something bad, it will get bigger and bigger with every thought. But the same happens with the good thoughts! If you think of something good and positive again and again it gets better and better.
So I started to be grateful for every situation and everything that happened. The first thing I realized was that the people around me don’t have a big impact on my life anymore. They couldn’t control my feelings with their negativity. There are always people who aren’t that positive or who just want to pull you down. The question is just: Do you let them?
Just the thinking won’t bring you to success
Many people who start to deal with positivity think that they don’t need to do anything but change their thoughts. But that’s not everything. It’s the part that matters the most. But if you don’t take actions outside your brain you won’t see that much success. And I’m not talking about success in your business or financial success. I’m talking about success in every single life situation.
Positive thinking is just the basis for the whole thing. But you also need to take actions.
And now how can I learn to live a positive life?
- Ask yourself why you’re not already living a positive life.
- Be conscious about why your life was how it was until now
- And DECIDE NOW to change this
If you did these three steps, you already reached 50%.
After I asked me the questions above and found answers and decided to change it now I started to take actions.
- I started to read books about personal development
- I watched movies that also treated this subject
- I talked about it with other people
And this is how I started my way of positivity. And this way has no end. It’s a new lifestyle where I still learn new things nearly every day.
